Club Sandwich | Chicken Tikka Club Sandwich

A club sandwich is one of the most iconic sandwiches on any menu! We love to enjoy this chicken tikka club sandwich alongside some delicious fries. It’s a great picnic food and can be served at small gatherings. Must try this mouthwatering recipe of club sandwich.

Before we move to the steps, let me tell you the tools/equipment and ingredients you will use.

Ingredients:

  • 250g Chicken (cut into strips)
  • 2 Tablespoon Whisked Yogurt
  • ½ Teaspoon Paprika Powder
  • 1 & ½ Tablespoon Tikka Masala
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 4 Tablespoon Cooking Oil
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ Teaspoon Crushed Black Pepper or to taste
  • Large Bread Slices
  • Butter
  • Mayonnaise
  • Tomato Ketchup
  • Lettuce Leaves
  • Cucumber Slices
  • Cheese Slices

Equipment:

Make sure you have the following equipment before you start making the club sandwich:

  • Large Bowl
  • Frying Pan
  • Iron Grill Pan
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Kitchen Knife

Steps to Make Club Sandwich:

  1. In a bowl, add chicken, yogurt, tikka masala, paprika powder, salt, lemon juice, mix well, and set aside to marinate it.
  2. Take a frying pan; add 2-3 tbsp. oil, marinated chicken, and cook on medium flame until chicken are tender (for 8-10 minutes) then cook on high flame until dries up.
  3. Let it cool and roughly chop into small pieces and set aside.
  4. Next, add egg in a bowl and sprinkle salt, crushed black pepper, and whisk well.
  5. Add 1 tbsp. cooking oil in a frying pan and fry whisked egg from both sides for 1-2 minutes and set aside.
  6. Cut the sides of large bread slices.
  7. Grease the iron grill pan with butter and toast the bread slices from both sides.

Assembling:

  1. Now place three toasted bread slices on a tray or clean surface.
  2. Take one slice, spread mayonnaise, and tomato ketchup, place lettuce leaves, cucumber, prepared omelet, cheese slice, and place another bread slice on it.
  3. Now add prepared chicken tikka filling on that slice and flip the third bread slice over it (make 2-3). Cut into desired pieces.

Your tasty club sandwich is ready now. Serve it with fries and sauce/ketchup and enjoy!
