Chicken Balls Recipe (Simple & Tasty)

Have you ever tried making chicken balls? If no, then must try this simple & easy recipe. Chicken balls are delicious snacks made from shredded chicken, mayonnaise, and sauces. Make it the way we do, serve it to family members or guests, and everyone will love it!

Before we move to the steps, let me tell you the ingredients & equipment you will use:


For Chicken Balls:

  • 2 cups boneless chicken (boiled & shredded)
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder (you can also use chopped onion)
  • ½ or 1 cup mayonnaise (or as required)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 2 small green chilies (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon chili sauce (you can also use soy sauce if you want)
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 2 tablespoon fresh coriander

For Coating:

  • 1-2 eggs
  • Bread crumbs
  • All-purpose flour
  • Oil for frying


Make sure you have the following equipment before you start making balls:

  • Non-stick Frying Pan
  • Bowls
  • Kitchen Knife
  • Measuring Spoons/Cups

Steps to make Chicken Balls

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add boiled & shredded chicken, mayonnaise, onion powder, salt, red chili flakes, black pepper powder, chopped green chilies, chili sauce, fresh coriander, and give them a good mix until well combined.
  2. Now grease your hands with oil, take a mixture, and make balls of equal sizes (makes 12 -15).
  3. In a bowl, add eggs and whisk well.
  4. Add all-purpose flour and bread crumbs in separate bowls.
  5. Now coat balls in all-purpose flour then dip into whisked eggs and coat in bread crumbs.
  6. Add oil to a pan, heat it and fry balls on medium flame until golden brown.

Now your delicious chicken balls are ready. Serve them to family members (both adults &children), guests, or friends with sauce or ketchup & enjoy!
